With effect from 1 January 2023, Carl Aug. Picard GmbH acquired the majority shareholding in the company USG Uwe Stücke Granuliertechnik GmbH. The company will furthermore be run by the Managing Partners Uwe Stücke and Eric Kopetzki.

For more than half a century, Carl Aug. Picard GmbH has been offering its customers wear resistant process sections for the extruder industry like screw elements, liners, barrels, shafts and much more. Carl Aug. Picard GmbH extends its range of products for customers with further important process sections by the acquisition of USG Uwe Stücke Granuliertechnik GmbH.

Both sides will increase their expertise by know-how transfer in order to provide customers with a larger product spectrum and broader consulting in future.

Owing to our profound experience, we have successfully managed to establish ourselves on the market as a manufacturer of tools and spare parts for the plastic-producing industry within a very short time.

Our own design- and manufacturing departments with modern 3-D CAD software and various CNC tooling machines, combined with the required know-how for the products, enables us to operate flexibly and in a customer-oriented way worldwide. This knowledge allows us to supply you with knives and die plates that are “custom-made” for your applications.
